Hello! Welcome to Team LLS Angels website. My name is Andrea Van Dell and I have been honored with the exciting nomination as a candidate for Woman of the Year by the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. I have been actively involved with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society for the past 4 years when a very close friend, Christine Maurer, discovered that her brother, Patrick Kelly, was diagnosed with Primary Central Nervous System Lymphoma when he was 26. Patrick is with us today thanks to advances in radiation and drug therapy, due in part to the research funded by the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. I know that the funds that my team and I raise will help support the Society in its efforts to explore new treatments and innovations.

I support the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, because they have made a tremendous impact on not only my friend, Patrick Kelly, but also on the overall survival rate and prognosis of people living with blood cancer. The Society not only provides extensive research which has lead to advances in drug cancer research such as chemotherapy, radiation, bone marrow transplantation, and new targeted drug therapies, but they also help patients living with blood cancer and other programs that create awareness about blood cancers.
